He started playing the violin at the age of 7. Nowadays, he teaches
violin and viola alongside other different artistic activities, in the
world of both classical and traditional music.
I got a degree in Viola performance at ESMUC, class of 2003-2007. Pupil of Ashan Pillai. I worked as violin and viola teacher at la Seu d'Urgell municipal music school for 6 years. (2003-04/2008-09). Later I worked as violin and viola teacher at Consortium Itinerant School of Music and Dance of El Pallars at 2009-2010 school year. I am currently teaching at Folk School of Pyrenees.

La Sonsoni is a duo of Pep Lizanda and myself. We base or repertoire on songs and dances from Hautes-Pyrénées that we adapt depending on the event, whether is a concert, a musical accompaniement or collectives/couples dances.
ROT is a band of young musicians of The Pyrenees who live in la Seu d’Urgell and the surrounding towns. Their repertoire is mainly consisting of their own tunes, composed by Josep Pepon Vilarrubla, mixing folk with other different styles like funk and reggae, among others.
