Pyrenee duet consisting of Pep Lizandra and myself.

We have basically moved through the villages of the Pyrenees, where we live, since more than 19 years ago, participating in “aplecs” (Sta. Mª d’Àneu, Boscalt, Ponts, Salau, S.Joan de l’Erm...) fairs (Pobleta de Bellvehi, Esterri, La Seu, Llavorsí) festivals (El Mundo de los Pirineos, Sarramball, Sons de Muntanya, Arsèguel...) traditional dances (Ball pla d’Alinyà, l’Esquerrana de Castellciutat...) and several festivities (Balaguer, Son, Salars...). We offer a traditional music repertoire with our instruments: diatonic button accordion and violin. The band normally is composed by two musicians, but depending on the event, also Erika Weigand and Mariona del Carmen de la Portilla would participate.

We base our repertory on songs, and dances from Hautes-Pyrénées that we adapt depending on the event, whether is a concert, a musical accompaniment or collectives/couple dances.
